La Revue Bâtarde is a bi-annual zine independently published by La Manufacture d’Épingles, a collective of young Parisian artists. Each edition revolves around a central theme, inviting artists to explore and experiment, whether through visual art, photography, writing or poetry.
The zine is available for purchase at Philippe Le Libraire, Cahier Central, and Librairie Volume.
La Manufacture d’Épingles invited me to participate to their zine a handful of times. Between editorial illustration, comics and pure exercice de style, I always considered this opportunity to play around the border between self-expression visual art and commissioned illustration.
